Antenarrative is what comes before, beneath, between, beyond, and ‘bets’ of what is after stories and narratives. Antenarrative is defined here as the ‘stuff’ out of which stories and narratives are constituted. Some say this ‘stuff‘ is merely ‘discourse‘ but what if its ‘processes’, the pre-story and pre-narrative processes constituting stories and narratives what is the non-storyable and non-narrativizable? Antenarrative Theory, Method and Practice has been developing since I coined the word in 2001 book on Narrative Methods. Since 2001 besides speculative bets on the future, and before-narrative, antenarrative means as well the beneath, between, and becoming processes.
